Leadership Biography: Jose Paoli

Jose Paoli Montesinos has been President of Grupo Hotelero
Latino America since 1991. He is responsible for the
operations of five Holiday Inn hotels and one Tulip Inn
property.
With 37 years of experience working for IHG, the Mexico
City native has participated in more than 25 hotel openings
for IHG. Paoli has worked in many locations during his
career, including Dallas, Bolivia, Ecuador, El Salvador,
the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Panama, and Puerto Rico.
He began his career at the Holiday Inn Airport Mexico
City in 1970, which was the same year that the brand
began its operations in Mexico.
Paoli has received numerous awards during his career,
including the 2005 Businessman of the Year from the Mexican
Hotel Association and the 1998 Golden Medal from the
Secretary of Tourism in Mexico. He received his degree
from the Mexican School of Tourism.
Paoli has been a member of the IAHI Mexico Committee
since 2004 and has served as its President as well.
